i've been thinking about getting a Macbook Pro, I guess building a pc in the same price range is the smarter solution though. What you think?

It ultimately depends on your specific needs and preferences. Both Macbook Pro and building a PC have their advantages and considerations to keep in mind.

If you prioritize portability, macOS, and the Apple ecosystem, then the Macbook Pro might be the better choice for you. Macbooks are known for their sleek design, high-quality displays, and excellent battery life. They integrate well with other Apple devices, making it convenient if you own an iPhone or iPad. macOS also offers a user-friendly interface and a wide range of productivity software.

On the other hand, building a PC can offer more customization options and potentially better performance for the same price range. You have the flexibility to choose specific components according to your needs, such as a more powerful processor, more RAM, or a dedicated graphics card. PC components are generally more easily upgradeable, allowing you to extend the lifespan of your system.

Additionally, PCs running Windows provide a wider variety of software options, including a larger selection of games and productivity applications. If you have specific software requirements that are only available on Windows, or if you prefer the flexibility of customizing your hardware, building a PC might be a more suitable choice.

Nah, Imo, Apples Price-Performance just sucks, I have airpods and an iPhone myself, just because I love the design of the products and the software, but price-performance, camera, storage, battery lifetime etc. is just worse than a Huawei, Samsung etc...

In the long run I believe that MacBooks are really worth your money. They have great security features and is second to none user friendliness.

Apple products are designed to work seamlessly together within the Apple ecosystem. If you already own multiple Apple devices, such as an iPhone, iPad, and Mac computer, you may benefit from the ease of integration and synchronization between these devices.
