Battle Royale games are competitive and are suitable to be consideredan "E-Sport". Having a random element to it doesn't make it uncompetitive. It actually makes it better as a spectator sport, the game feels less linear and slightly more unpredictable which is good game design. It only starts getting uncompetitive when the luck factor starts overshadowing the player's skill, which I don't think is the case here.
