Best Mods?

First it depends on the mod loader. If Forge then I'd say try the Create mod, Its a new mod and very original from other mods. If Fabric then I'd suggest Tech Reborn, Its IC2 and Greg Tech combined.

Personally I like FTB Academy. A quest based modpack, which introduces the player to some of the base tech mods

Tinkers Construct adds so much depth to the game so it's def my favorite mod

I personally love Galacticraft. There aren't a lot of space exploration mods for Minecraft so this one is very unique and has many planets that you can explore and each one comes with its own dungeons and bosses.

these all sounds like great mods, cant wait actually get to try them out

i like customnpcs but it seems dead, which is very, very sad

CrazyCraft 4 is really nice, there are a lot of other nice mods ofc, but this one is really good too.

If you want a good photorealistic pack, try out the NAPP project, they have a good pack and more updated builds are on patreon however the contributers plan to go free when done.I suggest Patrix's resource pack. There is a x64 version (lower quality but free). x128 version must be paid for (1$) and x286 version I heard is almost unplayable
