Bitcoin Miner

Hey, I was thinking about getting my self a good old bitcoin miner, but not really sure how to go about it. Is it even profitable of having one at home? Or should I rent one through the internet? I'm really not good at this stuff, so just wondering. You guys sound a bit more experienced, any support here/personal experience?

Mine on your own computer when you aren't using it. That's the way I started. I'd created an account on bitcoin talk forums and researched what was good, what wasn't and what worked, and what didnt before I even attempted mining.

I recommend you rent it on the website because it comes cheaper. But it is hard to trust every site, sometimes you can get your money.
