Not a scam, just a high-risk/reward investment. I don't even see it as a reliable digital currency anymore... Just a trading commodity

Not even remotely a scam, but it's not for anyone. You should first study how it works and how to use it safely. Don't just go on buying it just because of the vibe.

bitcoin itself not a scam but people get scamed because of greedy nature for great profit with low investment.

It is what people are willing to pay for ONE unit of bitcoin. Bitcoin futures are coming to NYSE and I said, give it a year until regulation steps in and it would died by end of year.

Sorry I originally posted this in the Lounge by mistake....

Who do you think is pulling the strings on bitcoin? At the beginning of this year it was only worth about $1000 and ran up over $16000. Does anyone else see that as strange or just the value really going up that high?

Not a scam, if you do some real research its potentially the next major thing... replacing currency that can be printed and controlled by governments. At the moment very volatile but once this stabilises its likely to be a good store of value.
