I think it's just that it had so many competitor on it's years of showing and being a long anime. It was hard for it to keep up on naruto, one piece and other long anime that got famous.

i don't know the reason why everyone slept on it, Bleach was a pretty good anime imo.

Bleach was one of the best TV shows I've ever watched. Sometimes there were non-binding moments from which I not wanted to finish watching, but there were incredibly few of them.

Honestly couldnt get into the series after talking to the crazy shippers.
