I have been enjoying the Jack Reacher books. The movie with tom cruise was terrible though, I mean in the book he is 6ft something and built like a house, then you get tom cruise to play him... go figure

I'm currently reading the 50th Law by Robert Greene. I have heard so much good things about him and I like how his books give me knowledges and opens my eyes a little more

Get back on it bihhhhh. Audiobooks are always an option instead of listening to music while doing your daily tasks.

I've heard of this but haven't really gotten around to reading it or even researching it at all. I've heard lots about Greene though but also haven't read much of his works. Should get around to that some time.

Working on building my collection of Asian (English translated) literature now. Have a few titles, once I get around ten or so (Electronic and physical formats) I'll post my list. Getting back into writing poetry again.
Also reading through Alias Grace now for one of my classes. Should be done tomorrow. It's a nice book so far. My prof is really passionate about it so this class should be blessed.

Last book I read is "Dune" by Frank Herbert, kinda confusing at parts but it's interesting seeing how many sci-fi stories take inspiration from it.

Those of you that haven't started, should start the Annihilation series. That series is by far one of the most cerebral things I have ever had the pleasure of diving into. The movie I hear wasn't so great but the books are phenomenal!

I have both 2033 and 2034; I read them in Polish haha. You get a bit more of a Russian feel to it (not quite, but they are both slaviclanguages) which adds a nice touch.
As far as recommendations, what exactly did you like about the book? Was it the description of life after an apocalyptic event? Was it the character development and interactions characters have, was it the atmosphere of a nuclear fallout? Be specific and I could give you some recommendations haha.

I am currently re-reading Firefight by Chris Ryan (Ex SAS), it's about this SAS CPT who retired, but they need him to do one last mission. I just love how it imitates the trauma of losing people and the theatre of war.
