Bulletproof domains that aren't expensive af?

My question is basically the title. I was looking for offshore, bulletproofdomains such as .io, .se, .bz, etc. that aren't as expensive. If someone could help me out with that it would be very helpful!

You can get .RU domain name, it is the best offshore domain. Also .UA but it is too expensive.

i dont think there is a realy bulletproof domains , since torrents websites like (kickass - the piratebay - .... ) were taked down even that they used many domains like .to .cr . ru ... if your site become very popular , it will be downed by the US laws :/

Unfortunately I don't think you will have much luck. A domain itself is not "bulletproof", a domain name is just a name that "points" to the IP of your website. Could you imagine how difficult it would be if we had to use 216.58.192.14 to go to google's website? How would I remember that? That's why the DNS system was invented, was so that we could have easy-to-remember names to go to common sites. So really all a domain itself is, is just a name that would then point to your site.
Now, there are certain registrars that can provide you with "sort of" bulletproof domain names, as they are located in countries that are hard to manage under certain jurisdictions. But this only means that it's less likely that it could be taken down than a normal domain purchased through somewhere like GoDaddy. Most so-called "bulletproof" registrars are not really bulletproof, as if someone knew the right people they could have it taken down.

That being said, torrent sites like those listed by winpnx were indeed taken down, but it took governments years to take down TPB completely (although it still exists in a smaller form today). Their domains were taken down multiple times, (hence why they went through several domain names over the years) but the site itself still existed because they had servers that they hosted themselves from a somewhat discrete location. They didn't just buy servers online like most people do, they had their own servers that they ran, and then multiple governments teamed up and raided the place where it was being kept and shut it down.

Why do you think you need a "bulletproof" domain anyway? For most sites you really would never need this.

i have .nl and .eu for only 1 euro a year at http://versio.nl there are a lot of domains cheap and you can get it protected too
