Call of duty Modern Warfare or Call Of Duty Black Ops?

I was thinking about buying a call of duty game so i can play with my friend he has both mw and cold war but i can only get one because i don't have much money, so tell me your opinion on which one should i get

Someone told me that the multiplayer in Cold war is not the best one, but if you want to play for the history, you should buy Cold War, if not, it's useless

Modern Warfare is better, i think

IF you like dynamic in games i suggest mw but if you like a little bit slower cold war will be good
