Hey folks,
I've noticed a couple rock threads/postshere and there, but I was curious if there are any other fellow metalheads lurking. For the love of heavy metal and all that.
I grew up on Metallica, Alice Cooper, Ozzy, Maiden, Motorhead,and a couple others myself. Lately I've been in love with Slipknot, Korn, Gojira, and a couple metalcore(ish)bands like Fit for a King and Blood Youth ("Playing the Victim" is probably my favourite song at the moment). Onslaught's 2013 and 2020 albums are the best thrash I've heard since peak Slayer. Been experimenting a little with death metal but it's hard to find bands that are more than just loud, scary noises and emotionless growls.

I've always been restricted in my metal choices not wandering too far off from thrash but Sabbat helped me understand how sick black metal can be.
