You can mine not only on the GPU, you can also on the CPU
It all depends on the crypto protocol

RE: Can i mine cryptocurrency on centos 7 05-01-2021, 08:57 PM #4 I guess it really depends on the program you use. Also Ptcd is not wrong you can mine on either. Depending on your GPU it is most likely faster and you will benefit more than mining from your CPU.
