Can't hang anymore?

#1 I've recently reconnected with a few of my old stoner buddies from junior high I'm 40 now. Each time I went to so see one of them one of the first things I did was light a joint but when I went to pass it every damn one of them says "oh, no thanks. I cAnt smoke that shit anymore it makes me hella paranoid n almost have a panic attack n on top of that I act really really stupid like act like a baby dinosaur stupid. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
