Can't seem to get high

Hello, I don't smoke weed on a regular basis but usually have a bit when I'm offered it at a friends house or something. Anyway, I went to my friends house the other day and he's got this really sick weed vape. He asks if I want to try it and I took about 4-5 large inhales, but nothing happened. I've smoked weed on several other occasions but nothing seems to happen when I smoke it. Is it possible that I am immune to the effects of THC?

you're probably not smoking it right or you do in fact get high and don't realize it
