There was a issue with steam that let people auto log into others accounts and see there info. I made a post on the chat this was It was.

https://twitter.com/SteamDBVIEW THIS NOW! The best way to protect yourself is to completely avoid Steam websites for now. To repeat, do NOT visit any Steam Store links. Doesn't matter what you want to do, do not visit any of them. Do NOT attempt to unlink PayPal, remove your credit card details or anything else. Doing so will put you at risk instead.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
send this to all you know
If you go to your account details you will be looking at others details this is not a fake joke try it out on your own risk. But I think at this time they fixed it and just made it all black page
Don't log into any forums or websites that want you to use steam also.

After all of this and steam took down the store and much other things. Lots of hackers could have used this to take peoples info and other badthings I would have Tongue so change your info to be safe!
Also change your PayPal stuff and other info you want to protect.

No you idiot.
It wasn't breached, so login data wasn't compromised (besides the username and what could be seen on the account details page).

So unless you got phised, you don't need to change your password.

You could see people's full email and phone number. also you could turn off people steam guard and much other bad things. I was mess with stuff on there and you could add your email to reset the password but I never test if that worked.

Also other websites that use steam login could have compromised your info.

My phone number? and how can they hack my account with that?
My email? Still useless to them.

Also to change the email you'd need the link from your email first anyway, so yeah, can't be done again.

That can happen any time ^ :fp:

Hackers could log all the username and emails quicker then use a password hacker to get into them. If they made a bot to auto collect info it would not take them long to get a lot of accout with dumb passwords for their emails. I would have if I really wanted steam accounts. Would have made it a hell of alot easier to get your info and send random shit to your door if they felt like to to be msg "trolls" with theirfriends.
