Blah, yeah it is quite shitty that steam fucked up, though they'll shrug it off like nothing happened even though many people got their private information leaked like their phone number, full name, last digits of CC, etc. still breaking peoples privacy, I hope they have some kind of comp. for the community but highly doubt it.

You could see people's full email and phone number. also you could turn off people steam guard and much other bad things. I was mess with stuff on there and you could add your email to reset the password but I never test if that worked.

Also to change the email you'd need the link from your email first anyway, so yeah, can't be done again.

Hackers could log all the username and emails quicker then use a password hacker to get into them. If they made a bot to auto collect info it would not take them long to get a lot of accout with dumb passwords for their emails. I would have if I really wanted steam accounts. Would have made it a hell of alot easier to get your info and send random shit to your door if they felt like to to be msg "trolls" with theirfriends.
