My younger sister was given one from her school. She seems to like it however she only uses it for school work and browsing social media. I doubt it would be good for anything else.

My friend has got one for surfing the net at University, said it does the job.

It's basically a mini laptop that runs a chrome OS

It is okay. Definitely good if you wan't to do like things only for school (Running word, excel, etc.)

I don't find it to be the best though, the ones I have used are shaky.

They're just slim, goodlooking pc's that run on google's Operating System.
Not good for gaming or video editing/photo editing. Very small RAM and Memory.
You can install Linux on them.
