Could you recommend some good servers to play on?

Greetings.

I recently installed Garry's Mod again after a having a break from it for about a year, expecting to find some new, nice servers where I could have my "one social interaction a day", but I didn't expect the multiplayer to be absolutely empty.
Even on the servers of famous YouTubers like Fudgy or Elitelupus, there are only 30 people max, both on the US and EU servers, if not less. Is it my fault for choosing strange hours to join servers, or is Garry's Mod slowly being forgotten?
Yes, there are also servers with over 100 players, however... most of them are all Russian. I have nothing against playing with Russians, however, I don't speak Russian very well and multiplayer games (especially roleplay ones) are just too dynamic to think about every word I'm about to say.
Of course, it doesn't have to be roleplaying only, but I've played mostly SCP-RP before (and it looks like it's dead). I'm also not sure about playing MilitaryRP and StarwarsRP, since there are very strict rules. Well, it looks like I can only rely on your opinion.

I would reccomend playing some of the rp gamemodes such as darkrp, militaryrp or starwarsrp

Gmod overall has died. The playerbase has rapidly shrunk and the game is flooded with terrible servers. There's no server other then my own that I truly enjoy playing on. Some other notable darkrp servers that I played on a couple weeks ago. AtomicRP was ok at best, Aethernetworks.gg was pretty decent and Crystalclear gaming or something like that was a modded to shit perma weapon server that I only enjoyed playing on because I knew the weapons and just dumpstered people in raids.

It depends! If you are looking for TTT, I know Serious TTT is pretty good. I also know Crescent is good, so is Velk. GFL is neat too, they have a TTT2 thing going on. Pretty interesting!
