RE: Crypto: Still a good idea? 27-01-2021, 11:58 PM #43 There are very large fluctuations in crypto and also some brokers are unreliable. I think BTC is here to stay but you can only invest what you can afford to lose since the risk is great.

You've really got to do your research on anything you plan to invest in. Crypto currencies are no exceptions. I've personally made a few hundred through the major ones. That was just through small investments that grew over time. I started with smaller amounts across a few coins, some inflated heavily and a few other dropped. I just sell when I go over 20% and wait on my other ones to balance out or turn a profit later on. Sometime I get real lucky and cash out at 50+% but that's more rare unless the coin is unstable.

I think that if the pandemic continues on, prices will continue to hover around where they are, if it continues for longer periods of time, then it'll be rising again. People are stuck at home, still needing to make money, and some people have been killing it in crypto lately.
