Yeh ive seen the theories an such on the danger of them but i dont personally think they're much of a threat, i mean they're just videos of things and most of the time they are of very low quality and arent very believable.

I think it's an extremely scary technology.
Imagine a service where you paste a facebook profile and it automatically uses the pictures in that profile to edit that person into any video you provide. Could be used for embarrassing, fake porn, framing for a crime, ...
The only limit is your imagination.
If the existence of a technology like this does not automatically invalidate all video evidence we are in deep trouble!
