Aight.

There's always a tip- if you're working out in the gym. Master the form of each equipment before you do anything. You're not going to make extreme gains without correct form.

Remember to bulk to gain that extra bit of muscle after.

Hey there mate,
Seome things I do think you need to keep in mind.
1)It's gonna be a living hell the first week. You have to persist and endure.
2)Working out without proper nutrition is half the plan.Try to stick to a nutritional plan without unnecessary sugars/calories,according to your workout regime.
3)Don't try to show off.Learning how to properly do an exercise is much more crucial. If you do not do it correctly, you are basically not working out and could risk injuring yourself.
4)Start your way with something on a smaller scale, like crunches or Jumping Jacks and then work your way to harder and more complex exercises.
5)The most important tip of all:Don't use more kg's than you can handle.Use a bit less than you are capable and do more repetitions. This way you don't puff up with muscle, but you do gain more strenght in your inner muscle layers.

Good luck.

No reason anyone can't do pushups and planks during commercial breaks, waiting for downloads, etc. Understand that it's all in the mind and conquer that. Pays off greatly in long-term health once you hit middle age.

I usually like to go to the gym either after school or early in the morning. I'm yet to find a gym buddy I can go consistently with, so I usually just go solo with a pair of wireless earbuds.
But ever since this quarantine came in, I've been stuck at home just practicing push-ups and messing around with whatever dumbbells I have.

I really can't wait till I can go back to the gym.

Some useful advice would be to set goals and to go with a buddy.

Although I usually am by myself, when I'm with friends it's a lot more fun to work out and it keeps me motivated.
Also, when you set goals it may motivate you.

For example, I'm aiming to push my leg presses from 300lbs to 400lbs after the quarantine. Doing so sort of motivates me to do a lot more weight squats/jump-squats at home.

Also, make sure you learn the machine before using it.
Not only will it be dangerous if you're using it wrong, but you might not gain as much muscle.

Other than that I have no more advice. Hopefully it was useful to some extent.
Good luck at the gym!
