What do you think? Some people say they play better because of the skins but I disagree.

Usually,on games such as League and Overwatch, such a thing exists because of the different textures and colours in particles.

Now for gun colours, unless there is a stealth factor involved(like Call Of Duty),I don't think it applies to a better gaming experience.
It's most likely something you are used to and like,so you focus on killing and not admiring some cool patterns on a piece of metal.

When it comes to rhythm games like osu!mania, skins/themes make a big difference.
It's generally easier to read arrow/circle skins rather than bar skins.

Examples of each type of skin:

Skins dosen't affect gameplay in any way just the texture is changed but if the player get a placebo from having a weapon with skin and it's playing better then that skin just "unlocked" something in his brain that is related to how good he can be

Obviously they dont unless you bring up that some skins are more easy to see than others. But if you think it helps, then it prob does. placebo or something

As for me, they do not affect the gameplay so much, they make it more beautiful. You may have a goal to achieve this or that skin. And it's cool!
