I highly doubt that there would be a 3rd world war and if it does happen then nice knowing you all

I don't think a WW3 would commence because it will ultimately resolve to the nuclear arsenal, which I'm positive nobody wants.

Looking at the current situation with Russia, it's fair to raise questions and be cautious about the actions someone like Putin would take once his back is pushed against the wall, but I also feel like his interest in 'rebuilding the great Russian empire' would contradict with a world doomsday scenario.
