So i have the theory that microsoft is going to slowly replace java edition with windows 10.

Maybe by stopping it's updates idk. Because with Windows 10 Edition you get way more players from all kind of consoles together

Ehh hopefully not, I have both editions and I love running JAVA one with mods and shaders meanwhile windows 10 doesn't support that many good ones like JAVA does (I'm personally a sucker for realism and raytracing) and JAVA's difference from the windows 10 edition is what made me want to get both. I play one with mates and one solo, not too interested in public server worlds but maybe I should try it one day

No way. Java is way too popular, and replacing it would break the community.

I dont think so, JAVA is more stable than Windows 10 hehe

no that will never happen, java is too big on its own already.

i mean, it sure does replace it in some way, i use minecraft windows edition because the crossplay is fantastic, honestly, and the skins, customization, appeareances, i dig it, but uhh.. well, theres microtransations, which sucks ass

Most likely yes unfortunately, the only reason they haven't killed it yet is because Windows 10/Windows 7 users are still split evenly. If more people switch to Windows 10 in the next few years I wouldn't be too surprised if Java got shut down

The creators of the game really want this to happen. I haven't played Bedrock however, I heard it is better in terms of performance.
After all, I personally prefer java edition and will stick to it

No Windows 10 will NEVER replace it. Windows 10 is basically just bedrock edition. It's ASS.
