I think minecraft developers are now taking inspiration from other players who are improving this cool game :D

I feel like many games take from mods to an extent. Its just easier to integrate popular user adding than try to come with something completely original which may or may not be able to compete with the user created content.

I'd say yeah, kinda. A lot of games do that. Take The Binding Of Isaac as an example. They took mods, and put them out as a DLC. And still lot of people liked it. It's a good idea.

Yes they do. Minecraft or Mojang have been doing this since 1.12. Taking everything form mods they can and will properly keep doing it.
