Does multitask work for you?

I usually juggle at least two screens and a bunch of browsers open (with different workspaces and profiles). I’ll have batch processes running in one window while I’m hopping over to another, and so on.

When I’m digging into tasks that need some serious thinking, it can take a bit. Sometimes I need tunes to help me focus, but other times, only complete quiet does the trick. Then I loop back to what I was doing before, knock out a bit more, and hop around again. Anyone else work like this?

Or do you just zero in on one thing and keep at it until it's done?
