My first pet was a dog, I loved him...
I used to be indifferent to cats until I met my last one (he passed away few days ago, may you be free and full of joy in the infinite fields of the afterlife my little love)... He was like a dog (always close to humans), but with the sweetness of the cat.
And there's more mystery in the serenity of the cat.
