Editorial Design

Does someone know any good books about editorial design?
I'm really interested in it but can't really find anything that really fills my needs.

This is what I'm looking for, however this is just some examples, I'm looking for some theory or something to stick to.

I'd recommend just using google at this point, you can find pretty much anything you need across multiple blogs and download sites nowadays. Try this, this, and this, however and let me know if they help out.

Study each portion of Editorial Design, there is no comprehensive guide about it specifically. It is near impossible, as it govern so many elements. You might want to read up on the following to begin somewhere;

• Contrasts.
  
• Design weight.
  
• Journalism.
  
• Photography.
  
• InDesign
  
• Illustrator
  
• Photoshop
  
• Typography.

Thanks both, I'm more interested in the layout as the other things are more or less the same in other categories.

What I just wrote out for you will give you a basic comprehension about the layout. You can't just "look up work of others" and suddenly understand layout.
