I give it about a 4/10.

It looks like all you did was plaster a vector over a diagonally cut background, then added a vector C with some "fire" effects.

If you made all of that yourself though, then it's a definite 6/10.

Nearly correct; The C is actually the royal-initialen font with abokehand clip masking used but in blunt words, yes.

I'm currently working on bigger things but I'd still like to contribute so I'm posting simple things that look good to the eye.The quality here isn't really exceptional thoughbecause I used too much contrast :rolleyes:

Well since you're going with the title "Engraved," attempt to make it appear as if it's an engraving into a wall or block. Try to turn it from bland and effect-based to something that you might see at say, a park statue. Try putting it on a stone-pattern background then manipulating all of the items (minus the bokeh effects) to appear as if it's an engraving in the background.

Only thing that looks off to me is the background. The "Masterpiece" Looks out of place with that background... Overall it looks pretty cool.
