1. The buds on your plant will grow only if exposed to light directly, meaning that too many leaves during the flowering stage may leave you with thinner buds and smaller yields. 2. You decrease humidity. During flowering stage it's important to keep that moisture in air below 55% or you may see mold. Less leaves = more airflow! 3. It just looks better like come on.
