Yo.

I've been working up a new application and figured I would release it here for all of you that might find it usefull! If you do use this program please leave some feadback, I'd like to hear what you think, and it will encourage me to keep developing this project! And just to clarify, I did get the idea from this post: http://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4888596, but I'm to lazy to convert the code, so I just made my own version with my twist on it Smile

The general Idea of the program is this: You chose a folder, and the folder is encrypted and all the data is stuffed into a "Files.Encrypted" in the same directory as the program. Then after you've done that, create a decryption stub, this stub is only compatable with that "Files.Encrypted" file, they both have the same salt packed inside, and will only work with eachother. Then when you want to unpack the files, run the unpack stub, enter the password it was created with, and it will place the files like they were in the folder, inside a folder located in the same directory as the application called "Decompressed".

Some key features are:
- Recursive file searching
- All dependencies are packed into the decrypter
- MOAR ENCRYPTION!! Rijndael Open, Blowfish, Twofish, Serpent, Mars
- Minimal RAM overhead. (Writes as it reads)
- No critical information is stored inside the stub

//UPDATEZIES//
Added a ton of stuff, almost completely redone, some new wicked encryption algorithms have been added in, along with a performance boost because of how I handle reading and writing files now Smile
As always, it's not obfuscated, so if you realllllllllly want it, you know what to do.

Cool stuff Smile May I can ask how secure it is? Like, if someone with tons of knowledge would want to, could he crack it?

It's absolutely secure, it even offers bleeding edge encryption (Twofish), and stores no critical data inside the decrypter. So if you want to try brute forcing, it would take roughly

It would take a desktop PC about
18 duodecillion years

lmao, well it'll work well for that! Normally you would be limited to the size of the folder, and if the folder was say 8GB large, and you only had 6GB of RAM, it would throw a System.OutofMemory exception. However I coded this to have minimal RAM overhead, so this is only limited to the size of the file, so it will only throw an exception if you say, encrypt a 10GB large Hentai video, and you only have 6GB, Senpai will never notice you, he'll just say "Buy more ram you fucking weeb". I could go deeper and write AS I read the bytes, but that's a little overkill.

uh what would happen if the folder is 1 tb but i have only 12gb ram? After 12gb files it will just stop and its done?

no, thats what I just said it wont do. the only thing you have to worry about if you have 12GB of ram is if any file in that folder IS 12GB itself. Because it reads the file and loads it into memory, and if the file is too big to be loaded into memory, it will have problems.
