The game is far from dying, fortnite has a good, mysterious central story and besides always reinventing itself and it is perhaps the most played game worldwide...

A little bit, yes. Its still immensely popular, though. Its just not quite as fresh as it once was, about a year ago.

Those of the latter have found that Fortnites popularity reminded them of Minecraft, because of how similar it took the internet by storm.
