Fortune or Silk Touch?

When it comes to gold in the nether, would you rather use Fortune 3 or Silk Touch then smelt the blocks?

silk touch; stuff is too likely to fall into lava and it's nice to have consistent returns

fortune just because i like to get lots of more ores, and in 1.17 fortune has more use

Fortune because I find it more useful but silk touch is important

i would much rather have fortune, it would take me less time to get a similar amount if i were using silk touch
