Forum Rank / Userbar: Work in Progress

Honestly, for such a long, I've been trying to figure out how to create my forum forum ranks and this is the first that I've come up with something. Please be aware that it still requires a lot of work but I've gotten the basics down and I'm still working on the final version. Once I get the final design down, I'll provide the psd's for everyone to use at will in the appropriate forum but I'm interested to know what everyone thinks. The base of the design is finished, I may decide to add a graphic in place if the darker base but that I thought I'd post it here and get some opinions on it. I'm hoping to get some feedback on what I created. Keep in mind, I had no idea how much work it took to create one of these.

For a first attempt it's pretty good.

Thanks. I just made an update to it ... the more I get used to creating these, the better quality these ranks will become. But, soon as I get these worked out, everyone will be able to find them here. I'll be able to get the member ranks down the appropriate size just as soon as I get to the final design. Thought, for my first try, I'll give something to this community to use. PSDs will also be included in the final design.

First of all it doesnt look bad it just doesnt look like modern style it kind of looks like it was made in 2009 with the rounded logos and the tall bold text. Try and make it more modern and minimalistic. Like make the globe a flat logo and use a diffrent less thick and tall font.

But hey im not a designer so what do i know.

I'd say a tad bit less than 2009 ;p

the globe and the arrow were not so cool, try to change their colors

For a first attempt, this isn't bad. For a rank logo it's not very visually appealing at all and looks like a 90's themed one with the curved box and Big bold text.
