We currently have a webmaster forum, but that also includes web programming.
We do not have any form of C,C++, VB.NET, Python, C#, Batch or another form of coding forum available.

I suggest a new category: Coding

- C/C++ (with 2 prefixes (C and C++))
- HTML, CSS, JS, PHP (4 prefixes) (I don't think SQL should have it's own prefix, same goes for jQuery & Ajax)
- Batch/Shell
- VB.NET/C# (2 prefixes)

Optional: Python, Ruby, Perl & others.
With this I also suggest removing the coding part of the webmaster category.

Another suggestion is to add more tutorial Forums.
One that I'd personally would like to see added is:
A tutorial forum in the coding section -- Adding a prefix for every language that has a forum.

It's a good idea and should be added.

No, that's exactly NOT what it is.
I want a coding section, not some web scripting & designing stuff.

That's web design coding.

e.g. codes for stuff like fancy buttons and stuff

And yes-- I'd like a C# section. I have a bunch of stuff that I'd like to know how to do. (Google won't do the trick :( )

This has been suggested before and I'll give the same answer. There needs to be activity before the forum is created, otherwise it will die off just as fast as it was made. If you want to use our Computing subforum for all of your programming discussion in the mean time feel free to.

Quick question, why do you think there would be no activity if already more then two people have requested it?

and what would be a problem with it dying off IF that were to happen?

There wouldn't be any activity at this point because there hasn't been any evidence that people would actively use the forum.
If it dies off then we have another pointless forum further spreading out posts throughout the site.
