Just switch off your computer and try to get into the habit of sleeping at a certain time, then waking up at a certain time

Not if you don't want to go to sleep.

Not if you don't want to go to sleep.

Gets the job done if you have someone important tomorrow

If Im excited for something the next day, I can't sleep, too anxious. Not even sleeping pills can put me to sleep, it's awful.

Pfft, atleast not on me.
Sleeping Pills -> Sleep -> Wake up confused and "dead". Can't concentrate nor do things which needs lots of accuracy etc.

Do you feel rested after 5-6 hours of sleep? If so then your sleeping capacity is the best within 5-6 hours. Maybe your body and mind is used and good with sleeping with that small amount of hours and keeps you going for days. I've gone throught the similar issue myself but I find that if I try relaxing after a hot shower and watch some great shows on TV or movies, play with console or something, the sleep kicks in naturally.

Biggest influence may be my wife tho, she's a good option to use to get myself to sleep since cuddling and sleeping next to your loved one is the best cure for this sort of problem.

No, I feel tired and dizzy most of the day.
If my girlfriend sleeps next to me, I'm getting tired really fast but I can't sleep longer than 5-6 hours though.

Weird thing is, that I was able to sleep for 10-12 hours half a year ago.

Well since I'm a massive multitasker and I do literally, ALOT of stuff per day(streaming, gaming, managing the gaming orga and my biz etcetc + wife needs her time too) then I'm not surprised why I drop like a log to bed by the end of the day or in the early morning. Although I somehow still manage to stay up for days without any sleep and not feeling alot tired so... I'd gladly help you out but yeah, I bet some regular meals and a bit of exercising(not like gym, running etc) like moving around, going out for a walk or something may get your physis better and maybe some fresh air would do the trick. I started off with the very same stuff and it got me fixed up when I most needed it. I was very sceptical about this in the beginning because I was too lazy to do this but it finally turned out working well for me. Maybe you should give it a shot.

FYI: I got a huge diagnose myself regarding to health so... I'm kinda dropping to the same section as you're in.
Impress the best, stand out from the rest.

I sleep 5-6 hours as well, but on weekends I'm available to sleep 10-11 hours or so. I can't sleep earlier, and I don't want to.
