Bitcoin will be around as long as sha256 is a viable form of encrypting blocks of tokens. Open sourcing everything is the only way forward, or we are doomed to repeat war and struggle fighting over a problems which would've been avoided, had people understood that decentralized transactions are the most powerful concept since computers themselves.
