Gmod server not working

I have been trying for months to fix this problem. I've been trying to port-forward the game and it just says to other players that try to connect "Server is not responding" or something like that. I've been wondering if anyone had this problem before and what is causing it.

Can somebody send me like a link to a few networks or something. Trident is not working. Sorry, i'm a bit of a newbie of all this.

I think you have put the map on your addons folder put it on the map folder and synchronize your mod. I can't say anything else without your console

You did not think that the problem might not be in the game itself, but in hosting?

If you're going to have a proper server, you need to get a host.

Port forwardingis easy btw.

you must forwarding port becuse of some host like vds host they are closed the port for protect your host the other port attacks
you can open a ticket for them and say them " Sir Can you open this port for game server 27015 " And This 27015 port is default port for gmod
