I trying to add google adsense code to my forums. I added it on index also tried adding it in the footer template but the ad aint showing. So i was wondering do i need a sepperate plugin for this?

Changed compatibility. to 18* installed plugin added code in settings enabled it but ad still not showing.
Is this plugin broken or?

no its not broke or anything, i tried it by my self and its working fine! did you tried to chnage the settings?

Yes i changed the settings. I checked my footer template there is also no variable of this plugin in there do u know which variable i need to add there?
