Growing cannabis is pretty simple really. Its called weed for a reason; it is very hardy and will grow almost anywhere. Growing great quality can take a bit more work. Growing quality plants in your home requires some planning, but it is actually fairly easy to do.

It will be about 20 weeks before you are going to be able to smoke your homegrown. This timeline will take you from seed to harvest to drying to curing and will give you ththee basic information for each step.

By growing your own, you will be able to save money, ensure quality, and make it easily available. You will also avoid any problems with pesticides and herbicides that are used on some commercial crops.

You can get your seeds from any of thousands of seed banks. There are many websites that you can order from. If you know anyone else who grows, ask them about their experiences. Another great place to look is in magazines, like High Times, Cannabis Now, and Cannabis Culture. No matter where you choose to buy from, it is wise to look online for reviews.

There are 5 needs that your plants have that, if you take care of, will mean an easy grow.

1. Soil or Hydro and What Nutrients You Should Add
For a beginner, we recommend soil. Your ancestors worked with soil and your mom probably plants flowers in her yard every spring so between your ancestral instincts and the fact that everyone is planting flowers, if not gardens, you will have access to many resources to help you if needed.
Stick with an organic potting soil. You will want to replace your soil after every grow. The plants eat up the nutrients and replacing the soil is easier than trying to fertilize it.

2. Air
Contrary to rumors (and convention), you do not want to keep your plants in a closet. You want them to be in a well-ventilated area with fresh, moving air. This can be tough, but with a bit of ingenuity, you can make it happen.

3. Light
Your cannabis plants wont be satisfied with just light from a window. They need to have access to much more energy in order to give you tasty buds.
Go to your local garden shop and get indoor grow lights to get started. You can, in the future, try other light options such as LEDs.
Make sure to not keep the lights on all the time. This is where a timer will come in handy. You will want your plants to have 12 hours of darkness to every 12 hours of light.

4. Water
The pH of your water is very important. The right pH for your soil plants is about 6.5 pH. Get yourself a pH tester so you know exactly what the pH is. Dont use chlorinated water from the tap.
If your pH is too low or too high you can adjust it with additives you can buy in a garden center or online.

5. Temperature
70 80 degrees is ideal for marijuana. It is a temperate plant, so the temperatures that you like should be just fine.
Starting to grow marijuana is not too difficult, particularly if you are only planning on growing 2 to 4 plants.

This little intro is probably enough to get you started. Its better to just get started, rather than spend a lot of time reading and worrying. Plant and learn from the weed. It will let you know what it needs if you listen.

A guide I made for my forums

You didn't fucking make this, it's been on the Hidden Wiki for over two fucking years now.

You posted it on the 21st of April this year, meaning you steal peoples content and claim it's yours.

Jesus kid, next time just fucking paraphrase it. The first two lines are really distinguishable.
