I'm actually not sure. I finished half life Alyx last week and got excited from the ending but it completely shoves away Laidlaw's original plans. Its also confusing because of Gordon and Eli do go on an adventure for Alyx in some kind of alien dimension, Mossman and borealis is completely forgotten. Honestly, if valve manages to connect all the loose ends I'd be back to being a loyal fan of Valve.

Yea you are right. I'm just skeptical on Valve's ability to produce games lol. They made a 13 year hiatus and created some card game nobody asked for. I'm hoping that Alyx signifies their return to making games.

"Valve's ability to product games" - They've created the half-life series, portal series, counter strike series and TF2- They've been creating masterpieces of games for a long time- They can make EXTREMELY good games.

Yeah, for sure but I think it would take a little time. Hoping for a thrilling story and top shelf graphics. I guess it will to be in the edge of graphics technology when it comes to show up.
