Have you ever lost money because of a cryptocurrency ponzi-scheme website?

Everywhere I go I see a bunch of ponzi schemes claiming that you can "get rich quick" by investing only a few pennies. I never have fallen for one but I have heard horror stories about how people lost thousands of dollars by investing into bitcion ponzis.

nah cuz i aint falling for someone telling me i can get rich quick without work it just isnt realistic, people flood to the promise of easy money & get scammed. work for what you earn & scamming doesn't come into it

Yes yes yes, I lost a bit of money to a scam one day - it sucked. couldn't charge back sadly :(

I lost more money because I forgot my bitcoin wallet info , used to buy stuff, never anticipated a bullish trend

It happened to me december last year when i invested in this ico which looked bit promising. ended up being some shady poni scheme.

Well I did lose, but it was just ~$6. I knew something was wrong with the platform. It a ponzi scam so guys who put money when this started earned a lot, because they were able to withdraw the money. It was on eth network 2018 just after the fall of crypto, even my friend earned about $3K by depositing $700. So I deposited $5 and the next evening it was announced to be a ponzi scheme, they earned a lot. Scheme was simple, they were doubling money every week (~5 - 7) days.

Yes, it happened to me someday when I invest my money in a site MPCA.
