I would honestly say the choice of IDE is a personal preference and it does vary from person to person.

For me, I usually use Visual Studio Code as it offers all the functions that I would need to develop and create my applications with, as well as being rather fast and having many plugins available to install.

Sublime text 3 or VSCode is the best.
Just install all the plugins and you're good to go

I more time use atom when editing or sometimes use webstorm by jetbrains as it's quite neat and has a few good functions.

I use a few - mostly depends what I'm doing. I do a lot of LUA development so Atom for that. For basic stuff, I'll use Notepad++. But if I'm doing web development I live in phpstorm.

I use sublime text. It is lightweight. But the most important feature I like about sublime text is the popup which displays the class or function definition and reference when hovering over a class or function. Besides, there are a lot of attractive features it have which you will like.
