Dear,

For example, we have a hash string, a password string, or a login string. First, how to determine what type is: A) By the number of characters? Second, what program and what would it take to decide that hash string?

Regards.

To know a type of hash, it is better to have it checked on sites such as: https://hashes.com/en/tools/hash_identifier

And on other sites to be sure, if several different hashes are detected try to check which one could match manually via this site: https://hashcat.net/wiki/doku.php?id=example_hashes

For dehash, in my opinion the best software is hashcat, a lot of hash, big documentation and tutorial

Dear,

Thanks for your answer. In relation to hashcat we can't find a way to use it in windows. So we don't know how to decipher hashes that haven't been published yet.

regards.
