I use product aggregate websites such as Amazon, Bestbuy website, and Massdrop to scout potential target companies. I typically do companies with things that are often faulty: electronics, chemicals, and food are my most often targeted. I try to live chat the companies I choose, and always have serial numbers gathered from ebay or youtube beforehand. I make receipts from this website called mailcharts, using their "template" for best buy invoices. I edit it in HTML to my liking. If bestbuy does not sell their product, I find a local business that would likely sell it and fake a receipt on any of the top search results for such.

I make up a phony story with 3 key elements
1) Why the product is broken (for electronics, faulty battery is usually pretty easy-if the battery is easily replaceable, try saying you already tried replacing it)
2) Why I need the product NOW
3) Sob story (key element)

Make support staff feel bad for you, and they will more easily be swayed. This is the most key element. Other than this, have your serial ready when contacting either live or phone support, make your receipt beforehand, and prepare your story beforehand.
