How Valve games stand the test of time.

I find it incredible how valve titles such as Team Fortress, Counterstrike and Half Life stand the test of time to prove themselves as innovative and amazingly designed games that keep players playing with such a high skill ceiling. Even TF2 is 13 years old and still one of the most popular games on steam.
