How big is the different between Ryzen, and Intel?

Hi, currently i have ryzen 7 3700x, I had both intel and amd before, and both were good at the time and at the price that i bought them, but intel lost the battle when amd launched ryzen which they are very good in gaming, streaming and more at a low price and with more cores, which made intel to release new generation so quickly and put more cores into they cpu and put new brand i9 cpu, my advice is to get the lasted ryzen you could at the low price, pick a good mb which make room for upgrade and have all the functions/connectors you need and wait for lowes price of gpu

I have a ryzen GPU, because it's cheaper. Maybe it's not a good reason, but I don't see the point to pay more...

Ryzen for job intel for gaming (or no)

very different chip sets, ryzen often update more quickly and are currently fast developing whereas intel seems to of slowed down
