How'd you get into LOL?

I am friends with a Rioter, who works on LoL, and have been since Season 2. He told me to try it out, and now I have played for 7 years+.

Hi, I used to play warcraft III and once I tried multiplayer I was hooked. Controlling the hero units was really something. Forward 10 years later and I heard my neighbors talking about LoL so I googled it. Downloaded similar games like Dota 2 and Hon but they were not my cup of tea.

LoL was like dejavu with the pings, the mini map and the item shop. I felt right at home and the rest is history.
Why didn't you like it?

lol, friends kept asking for me to play as I was pretty decent in HOTS but damn how I hated LOL ,its incredible, felt so slow and boring compared to HOTS but I think the learning curve is just way too big.

First game was a win though, Garen top, rekked xD so I can keep telling my friends I have a 100% winrate :cool: xd

You get a bunch of friends to play it. Thats it.

Some enjoy the solo rank grind but thats not for everyone.

Me friend told me about lol but I have already uninstalled maybe 6 times because I'm too impatient for this game...

use to play WC3 then 3 corridors and early dota. Was looking for something similar online and found lol (during very early days) and got addicted because of the fast pace and the engagement level that dota never had

back then a friend forced me to play with him cause his buddy had no time. i then downloaded the game and went into a high elo game instantly cause he wanted me to use his smurf account, cause he wanted to play against real ppl
was kinda funny tho

My Cousin played it science the Beta, then later i played with him so i got into LoL Smile
