How do i get into 3D Modeling?

If you are looking for something more for engineering modeling I would also recommend Autodesk Inventor. If you have a .edu you can get a 3 year license for free and it has video tutorials and step by step tutorials as well. I would also recommend Solidworks, but that is expensive at $100 a year for a student license.

I suggest you a different way: start with a simple 3d cad, then switch from parametric 3d to NUrbs softwares. If you are a student Autodesk softwares are free

Learn from the basics, learn how it works, learn 3ds max or maya, study pluralsight tutorials, i would not recommend udemy because they stretch things unnecessarily. Have yourself surrounded by people of the 3d community so if you run into some trouble you can use some human help asgoogle is not always helpful. Once you get the hang of it. Practice and practice. Make things over and over.

I use Fusion 360... But it's mostly for items and designs I want to 3D print. Probably not the same as what most people are going for. I need to look up Blender apparently lol.

Sketchup is a great way to learn the basics especially if your wanting to 3D print

My advice, I find it hard to just 'learn' things for the sake of learning them; you probably already have an idea of the kinds of things you want to make, work out how to make whatever that thing isspecifically, even though you might not get the breadth of knowledge a tutorial will give you, the skills you pick up will come so much easier that going back and learning the rest of the basics will also come way easier.

Just get 3d software, any kind, like google sketchup just to get the basics and go with it. Set a goal like, make colorful cube, with each side in different color
