How do you stop anxiety?

I have anxiety, I can't really control it, I wanted to know if any of you know how I can lower it or even get rid of it.

Well I recently started taking medication for my anxiety because I've had this issue for 4-5 years now. Medication isn't the only way to help anxiety but I think you should definitely check up with a psychiatrist and maybe they can help you.*

You can control it by finding out why you're anxious, and trying to overcome the situation. It's helped me a lot. Anxiety is only psychological, but don't try to ignore whatever problem you have that's causing it, and rather face it head on and go through it, though it's much easier said than done.

Stopping anxiety isn't the problem, but you just want to make sure it isn't impairing your normal functioning. Therapists / psychiatrists can help you, it's just a matter of finding the right ones.

You can do your favorite things and when you are doing your favorite thing you wouldn't be anxious.

Find something that helps you. Read books, shower for 12 consecutive hours, whatever takes your mind off of things

You can't control anxiety. It goes when it goes. I think you can relieve it by "relaxing" but that's hard to do when you've got anxiety.

You could smoke some weed to feel relax and calm. Try going for a indica strain.

I usually just talk to someone when I am having anxiety it helps every time.
Recently it has been my girlfriend that I talk to and she just talks and it helps a lot.
