I would divide it into 2 categories, actual work and a one time make money opportunity.
1. Actual work would consist of you knowing a skill, photoshop, video editing, making a website and alike, and you could go about looking for clients in different forums, make a website to advertise your brand etc.. You could also translate languages and alike. When I say actual work I am not saying you have to work full time online, but I would define it as using an actual skill to make money online.
2. The opportunity would be something that would not be `hard` to do, but you just got into a situation where you can make money from it. Lets say you have a youtube channel or an instagram account, and someone offers you money for a sponsorship. Now of course, if you are doing instagram or youtube full time that is a job, but lets say your account is small and you never got a sposnorship before, this is likely a one time opportunity. Similarly, you could buy something from someone online for cheap, like lets say you are browsing ebay and see a ps4 for 80$, and you think, damn that was cheap, and then re list it for 120$, and someone buys it. Well, now you made 40$, but you are not an professional ebay reseller now, you likely just got lucky and found a good opporunity. Getting it is very cool and exciting, because getting ``easy`` money is always fun. But it is not really a consistent way to make money, and likely will not come if you are just forcing it, and is more likely to happen on accident.
When in comes to doing any kind of work or business online, it is important to remember that there are people all over the world trying to do the same thing. You might edit photos amazingly well, and you might want to charge 20$ for that, if it takes you an hour to do that photo. Sadly, there are people in this world who make only 1-5$ a DAY working, so they will be very happy to charge 5$, or even 3$ for a photo edit. That means that you will have to work for a lot less.
I tried video editing and found a guy who wanted me to edit like an hour of footage into a well edited 10 minute video and was offering a stupidly low amount. When I declined, he later told me that he found someone for EVEN cheaper. Just goes to show there are plently of kids, and desperate people who are willing to slave away their time for incredibly cheap and working online is only gonna bring you disadvantages.
I didnt write this to discourage you, but to warn you. It is much smarter to go out there and get a real job. Although if you got a REAL skill, you can try out online work. If you dont have a skill, and just want free money, IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN. You know why it will never happen? You wanna know why you wont make 1000$ a month with no skills? Because even people WITH real skills dont make that much.
Those easy jobs like from ads are nothing to be excited about so its all a scam. I suggest you to go and look for a job from real websites and do something like programming or translating text to different languages if youre good at it.
